My only dislike is you can’t remove the yarn separators and that the bottom does not have a thick folding board to keep it flat and open.

Oh my Heavens. STOP LOOKING FOR ANY OTHER Knitting or Crocheting BAG! THIS ONE is it! It is so BIG. Measurements are exactly what is stated in the Additional Information. We looked for hours, combing through yarn and notion bags on Amazon, Target and Walmart, and the specs on this bag seemed to good to be true, but the ratings over all were good, and we bit the bullet, and went with Amazon. This came and we were literally shocked. We purchased two, and each came separately in their individual well packed box as they were indeed big. One is a very thick pretty pink denim like fabric for by granddaughter and the 2nd is a beautiful purple heavy duty denim like fabric for myself. My granddaughter is a very fast crocheter of stuffed animals, carrying with her books and multiple colors of yarn in various weights, using three bags to carry all she was using, and they fit nicely in this one bag. I use circle looms and knitting needles, and this bag is so roomy all I had. Love the magnetic Velcro tabs and guide holes through the sturdy plastic inside cover. Seriously, we have nothing negative to say about the versatility, size, flexibility, carry-ability of these bags, except, it will not fit under an airplane seat, but may store in the upper travel compartment pretty easily.
I wanted a bag big enough for my hobby and this is it. Fits probably about ten or so bundles. If you’re on the fence just get it!
This is exactly what I’ve needed for all my knitting tools! I’ve constantly made a mess around the chair where I work on my projects. This nice looking & sturdy desk caddy holds everything I use: IPad, books, tools, markers, glasses & crochet hooks. The only negative issue was the SLOW shipment.
Love it! I everything fits, I can take it on the road, sitting at grandkid practice, traveling and everything I need it’s there. It’s a big YES!
It has so many pockets! It is super easy to pack up and use. I have taken it to the beach, mountains and a few long trips and it still looks brand new. I am able to wipe it down with a damp cloth and it’s clean. Its a sturdy bag and I can fit so many rolls of yarn
Used this for my art supplies, put my tube paints by oil, acrylic and watercolor into ziplock bags and slid into three inside compartments. Used the bigger compartment for smaller canvasses. Colored pencils and brushes fit great in the side zippers that had compartments with plenty of narrow slots
I had bought this bag for 3 reasons.First, I wanted to be able to keep my needles and hooks and other tools handy and well organized. Previously I had all of those things in a storage drawer in my craft room. But I don't knit in my craft room. I like to plant myself on the sofa in front of the TV for that type of crafting. So each time I needed to grab something I'd have to go into that room and dig through the drawers and invariably that drawer would be a mess.This bag keeps all my knit/crochet tools handy and organized in within easy reach of the dent that I am working on deepening into my sofa.I will say that the front zipper compartment isn't quite long enough to fit my longer needles. But I think that is because I have some european needles that are longer than the standard needles you find in the US. But they do fit at an angle in the top compartment.Second, I bought this to keep my yarn from being a tangled mess when I work on multicolored projects. I like the separate compartments for the yarn and that it has several holes for feeding the yarn through. I have not yet worked on a project that requires multiple colors being attached at the same time. But I have worked on multiple color block projects and this has helped me to keep track of what color is A, B, C....What I didn't like is that there was velcro tabs, presumably to hold the ends of the yarn to keep them threaded through the feed holes. The velcro was terrible. Every time I put my project into the storage area, the velcro would catch some of the yarn. Definitely NOT something that a bag designed to hold yarn should do. But every bag I looked at seemed to have these. A couple of minutes with a seam ripper took care of the problem. Fortunately the hook side of the velcro was on the tabs, so it was easy to remove those. The loop side of the velcro is attached to the bag. This is the reason for my not giving 5 stars.Third I bought this to my cats away from my yarn when I was not working on it. This unfortunately is the one area where the bag is an utter failure.
I love the thought that was put into this bag. I had bought a different one without the ziptop lid to save a few dollars. Lacking that lid meant the sides caved in and the clear top sagged. The sturdy zip lid on this one solved that problem plus keeps out undesirables like cats and critters. (I crochet outside.)The front compartment holds all my ergonomic crochet hooks from B-P with thick elastic straps. (Tip: insert the bigger hooks from below the elastic strap.) This area also holds many sets of knitting needles securely under a see-through covered flap. They will not slide around or be exposed like some other bags. One reviewer said that 16" needles don't fit, but I did not find that to be the case, though it was tight.There are plenty of other pockets all around for notions, patterns, phones, etc. Most are zippered. I love the side sectional that folds down flat. This is where notions go and keeps everything in reach at once.The interior has 4 pockets for yarn and a large section for your work-in-progress. Skeins like Red Heart fit well, but my cake-type are tight. I can always put them in the larger section behind instead. The "magic tapes" (Velcro tabs) are genius. They each hold the cut end of your non-working color, preventing the yarn from slipping back into the bag and tangling with the others. The yarn feeds through grommets. This one has six in two sizes to accommodate different thicknesses. The split top of the clear lid allows me to reach into the bag for my project without disturbing the working yarn.All the zippers, magnets, and grommets are sturdy metal. The outer fabric has an attractive brushed finish. The inside is wipeable. The polyester fabric dividing the inside could be better quality, but I'm okay with it. I do find the reflective trim amusing because I don't think I'll be crocheting on the street after dusk!It's a big bag and would not fit on the floor of the front seat nor can I imagine using it on a plane. I've included a pic with my foot for scale. 🙂I looked at every bag out there and I'm very pleased with my second choice. If you're not stuck on a color, you might find a big price difference between this manufacturer's pricing, a practice I've found across Amazon. Good luck and happy crafting!
I love this bag. It holds everything I need to complete a large project so I never need to hunt around for my supplies. It'll easily hold multiple skeins of yarn, all my needles and hooks, scissors, tape measures, stitch markers, pens, patterns and still have rooms for more. The tote is sturdy, nice looking and a great deal for crafters.

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review before but I got this back to replace the backpack version I previously had and this thing is AMAZING. It’s extremely sturdy and I got it wet but everything on the inside stayed dry. It’s got tons of pockets and spaces to put everything. It’s got spots for crochet hooks and knitting needles, I think the surprise color is very cute. This is so much easier to carry, it holds so much more and it’s honestly just the best bag I’ve had for crochet stuff!

I use these bags and others like them. They have different ones for my Cricut products I have. The fabric is durable and stylish. They’re a great price. I put all of my Cricut products in the purple color bags. .
